What do you get when you combine the love of sports, outdoor cooking and good friends? TAILGATING ...That's right..Tailgating has become a nationwide craze. It's a social event where you can see old friends and meet new ones from all over the country and from all walks of life. But one thing we all have in common is everybody loves a good time!
My Mission
Every year for the past seven years I have been raising the bar on my tailgate and this year I've decided to take it "over the top", as I continue my quest as New Orleans' Top Tailgating personality. With the popularity of the "Who Dat Nation" at an all time high, my goal is to take my credentials and put the show on the road this year, bringing a little bit of the "Big Easy" to the southeast region (NFL & NCAA) and eventually the entire U.S. (visiting all thirty-one stadiums in the NFL)
The last few years I have been rubbing elbows with some of the biggest names on the blacktop, competing in several hi-profile tailgating challenges and testing my cooking and tailgating skills. I'm also acquiring sponsors again this year to make my tailgate not only one of New Orleans' finest, but quite possibly the best in the land. And if our team can make it to the top again, this year could be the best ever.
So join me as I go on the road as part of "The Nation" or at home in New Orleans tailgating along with the "Korner Krewe", as we share our "tailgating tales" along with recipes and helpful tailgating tips.
